THE third leg of the popular AND1 three-on- three Streetball Challenge will be held at the AEON (Jusco) in Bukit Tinggi, Klang on June 29.
As in past years, WCT Land is the venue sponsor for the challenge which is organised by Ossia World of Golf.

WCT Land sales and marketing manager Stewart Tew said they felt privileged to be part of the three-on-three challenge, which was an exciting and interesting event for youngsters.
“This season, the event will be held at the more spacious AEON (Jusco) shopping mall.
“Our support for the challenge is part of WCT Land's CSR programme.
“We want to play an active role in encouraging youngsters to be involved in healthy sporting activities.
“We also urge the public to come in full force to be part of the event. The organisers have lined up a series of events for spectators as well,” said Tew.
The streetball challenge has six age groups – four for boys and two for girls – and the organisers are expecting a maximum of 350 teams. The age groups for boys are Under-13, Under-15, Under-18 and Under -21 while those for girls are the Under-15 and Under-18.
Ossia World of Golf executive director Saw Swee Leong said they were grateful to WCT Land for being the venue sponsor.
“WCT Land have been our partners for almost five years. The partnership has proven to be a success in creating opportunities for youngsters to be involved in a healthy activity,” said Saw.
Participants will also have a chance to be involved in other activities, including freestyle competition, emcee, beatbox, breakdance competitions, creative innovation drawing and graffiti competition and slam dunk demonstration and competition.
Hip-hop recording artiste Dareyno will put up a show and there will also be interactive games. Attractive products from AND1 will be offered as lucky draw prizes.
Milo is the official beverage of the challenge while StarMetro is the official media.
The entry fee for each team is RM90. Each participant will receive an AND1 jersey and each team will get an AND1 basketball.
The top eight teams in each category will get prizes from AND1.
In conjunction with the challenge, AND1 will also be initiating a series of coaching clinics in Klang.
About 10 coaching clinics are being lined up in Klang and Kuala Langat. Schools can call 012-601 6869 or 012-204 3771 for more information on the clinics.
